These shoes are $300. Let's get 'em! I found this Japanese hardcore band named BBQ Chickens, and originally was going to play this track named "I hate the cops" (typical song title) by them, when I spied a track named "Big Mac". All about Big Macs. And then I found their "Winnie the Pooh" song. So today's show is dedicated to bears and big macs.

This will be on the final exam, kids. Speaking of final exams, I am just coming from a week in which: I wrote five papers (of 23, 13, 5, 3, and 6 pages), and a take home final ("But. . .it's in my notes!"). I only had one real final, and needless to say it was much less effort and stress that any of my other assignments. (Me and seven other people worked on that take home final for four hours in the CoHo.) Why do I tell you this? I may sound tired/dead on air. Oh well. Enjoy the last ever Coral Bits.

This came up when I googled Japanese kelp. 昆布をググった時、この写真が出た。 Apparently, this guy cultivates Japanese kelp in Russia with the help of his falcon? この男の人はロシアで隼と一緒に昆布を耕すだそうですけど・・・ I guess there's no hard feelings left over from the Russo-Japanese War. 日露戦争はもう「恨みっこなし」みたいですね。

Look! It's piles of DJ Kelp at the market! I don't think I'll be appearing on any dining room tables.
The first half of the DJ Kelp/Totchii Mint Thanksgiving Extravaganza will feature more of the same and some holiday wackiness. I'll be flying out right after (yes, I live so far away from Davis I have to take a PLANE home) so I wish my fellow red-eye travelers a safe trip. As for Thanksgiving dinner, I'll be sleeping through it. But I'm looking forward to my mom's sweet potato pie covered in gooey marshmallow goodness, and some YORKSHIRE FREAKING PUDDING! Awww yeah.
