We couldn’t even imagine this day when we started but we at KDVS 90.3 FM are presenting the 10th Operation restore Maximum Freedom Festival this upcoming October 2nd 2010 at historic Plainfield Station in Woodland California from 2pm-10pm.
This years lineup includes diverse performances that will be sure to expand musical boundaries yet satisfy the yearnings of many ears. Let loose and experience maximum freedom’s 10th Birthday with Headliners such as breezy psych surf pop grooves by The Ganglians ( Sacto, Weird Forrest/ Woodsist) along with garage-pop genius melodies by The Fresh and Onlys( SF, Hozac), only to be stirred by AIDS Wolf ( Montreal, Lovepump) that will blow you away with their tightly constructed purposely dissonant songs left only to then be cracked up by catchy and clever tunes by Wounded Lion ( LA, SS/ In the red) just in time to welcome Australian upcoming sweet starlets Super Wild Horses (Melbourne, Hozac) with their festive riffs and hard hitting drum beats and adorable harmonization’s.
Along with these headliners, we have invited even more amazing performers to celebrate our 10th Maximum Freedom Festival like Mattress( PDX, Malt Duck), Greg Ashley (Oakland, Birdman), Young Prisms( SF), Buk Buk Bigups (Sacto, Weird Forrest), Big Black Cloud (PDX,Stankhouse), Psychic reality ( SF, NotNotFun), Didimao ( SF, S.S) and Random Abiladeze( Sacto).
This 13 band lineup is bound to serve our Maximum Freedom Festival the best 10th birthday ever and we hope to host an outstanding celebratory audience as well.
