Radio That Delivers: The KDVS 2011 Fundraiser, April 18-24
Davis, CA, March 16th 2011 – Community-based, freeform radio station KDVS will be holding its annual fundraiser from Monday, April 18th to Sunday, April 24th, 2011. Under the tasty pizza-themed motto “Radio That Delivers,” KDVS is seeking to raise $60,000 to continue broadcasting independent, non-commercial radio for another year.
Our radio station is supported mainly by listener donations and having a community supported budget ensures that we can continue providing the same services and quality programming that Yolo County has come to expect. We’ve been able to provide student jobs, maintain an independent broadcasting facility, and offer resources off the airwaves. Everything from our quarterly publication, KDViationS, to local, live music events.
Pledgers can receive special thank-you premiums for their tax-deductible donations to KDVS. There will be various pledge packs available at different donation levels. Additionally, there are numerous individual premium items including: gift certificates, books, t-shirts, craft items, and the opportunity to host your own hour of KDVS programming.
Starting April 16th, listeners will be able to pledge by check, credit card, or cash at:

877-399-5387. We will have operators happily standing by 24 hours a day during fundraiser week waiting to receive calls. Donations will continue to be accepted for several weeks after fundraiser week has concluded. More information will become available in the coming weeks at KDVS.org. Remember, KDVS kneads your dough!
