KDVS accepting applications for the Summer Programming Quarter

Come the 19th of June, KDVS 90.3 FM will be rearranging it's schedule for the summer. Those interested in getting invloved with the station, or for those of you who are, should turn in the Show Request Form  and test downloadable from this blog post. KDVS is always looking for new programmers and even if you aren't prepared to for the 19th, you can start New Volunteer classes this summer and start in fall. Consider beoming part of our exciting and open music and new community! 

You can apply to both music and public affairs programming, and apply for either Summer Session 1 or 2 at UC Davis or both.

You'll need adobe reader to view the request form, free here, and then email it to programming [at] kdvs [dot] org. SRF's will be assessed by show quality and volunteers hours. New applicants must take the KDVS class, do 50 hours of volunteer work and participate in shadowing and DJ training.

Ophelia Necro of "The Suicide Watch" moving from KFJC to KDVS

 

 

 

Ophelia Necro has just moved to the Sacramento Area and will be continuing her show, "The Suicide Watch" from KFJC foothills/San Jose radio on KDVS 90.3 Fm Davis. Ophleia plays a macabre mix of post-punk and ancient radio for the late night listener and was voting number 2 DJ of the Silicon Valley by Metro Magazine. Look for her show in the late night starting Summer and Fall 2011.Those of you who listened to her on KFJC or streamed, can still do so here at KDVS.org.
