UC Davis Homecoming 2010

This past Saturday night was UC Davis’ homecoming. Ah yes, Homecoming, the event where the alumni come back to the site of their glory days. For current students Homecoming is a weekend of parties and the perennial Homecoming Football Game.

Homecoming games are meant to be exciting. The craze of Homecoming is supposed to make the team play explosively, and send the fans home happy with a win.  Well at least the Aggies were able to accomplish the latter against South Dakota this Saturday.

If you went to the Homecoming Game as yours truly did, then you will agree that the game as entertaining as waiting in line for an Aggie Pack T-shirt! Well the game wasn’t that bad, the Band-Uh was the shiz and Dean Rogers’ touchdown was nothing short of spectacular.

UC Davis Men's soccer falls to UC Irvine

“We are going to beat your yellow soccer team, yellow soccer team, yellow soccer team. We are going to beat your yellow soccer team, so….WHY DON’T YOU JUST QUIT!!!”

For the first half of the UC Davis-UC Irvine men’s soccer game this Wednesday night, this goal actually seemed realistic.  From the start of the game however, it was apparent that Irvine’s team was more athletic.

They ran faster. Dribbled Fancier. Kicked Harder.

Aggie Talk May 2

On tonight's Aggie Talk Program we will be having the UC Davis baseball team in studio for an interview. Also on the agenda is a discussion of the 1st place Aggie softball team, along with other Aggie developments. And as always, we will do our best to fill your heads with as much useless sports knowledge as possible!
